One can manipulate the rotational motor speed directly with commands such as :

bash$ echo 0 > /sys/class/ar4000/acuity0/device/pwmA

The upper limit for rotational velocity is about 100 to pwmA

Example call to the scanscene program :

bash$ sudo scanscene /dev/ttyUSB0 /dev/ttyS0 250 20 LOOKUPHS 200
